When it comes to a Dumpster Service, you need to understand what items you can and can’t put into the dumpster. Even though you might be able to put a lot of items into the dumpsters, that doesn’t mean you can put anything you want into them. By understanding what items are prohibited from being thrown in dumpsters, it will ensure your rubber wheel dumpster is only packed with the right items.

There are a few different restrictions when it comes to your dumpster, including:

  • Yard debris like leaves and grass should be placed somewhere else beyond the dumpster. Even though you might not see this as a big deal, there are bags specifically designed for yard debris. Make sure to ask about whether you are allowed to put debris in your Dumpster Service or not. Different areas have different rules.
  • Heavy items that can cause problems with transporting the dumpster aren’t allowed. If the item is going to make it difficult for the company to come out and remove the dumpster, you shouldn’t be putting it in the rubber wheel dumpster to begin with. Exercise common sense in terms of what is too heavy and what isn’t.
  • Freezers, refrigerators and other appliances around the home should be thrown elsewhere. When it comes to appliances, there are special places where you can take them to get rid of them. However, a dumpster isn’t one of them.
  • Poisonous or hazardous materials such as asbestos or paint don’t belong in dumpsters. Special facilities are available for you to dispose of these items, so make sure and check into that beforehand.
